Dive Against Debris 2019

Many thanks to all the volunteers who braved the winds and waves to participate to our Dive Against Debris at the Gord Edgar Downie Pier, on Saturday September 14th 2019. Divers from Ottawa and Montreal were there to help.

The visibility was less than ideal, which limited how far we could go and how much we could pull out of the water. Nevertheless, with over 35 volunteers, on shore and underwater, we were able to recover close to 800 pounds of debris of all sorts!

14 new Dive Against Debris Specialist were certified.
